In 2011, Canvas Health acquired Crisis Connection, a crisis phone service based in Richfield. Crisis Connection provides 24-hour crisis counseling by telephone to all of Minnesota and Western Wisconsin with the majority of service to the nine-county metro area. In 2010, Crisis Connection responded to more than 53,000 callers, providing counseling services to 86 percent of them.

By building on Crisis Connection’s unique expertise, we are able to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our crisis mental health services.
