Our goal, like yours, is to help your child or adolescent recapture the joy and discovery of growing up. We provide care for early childhood (birth to age five) through age 18. We also specialize in treating a transition age group (age 18-25) that that does not always get the attention it deserves.
Psychiatric medical services for children include medical evaluation and consultation, treatment planning and medication management. We also facilitate inpatient hospitalization when necessary. Our experienced nursing staff plays a critical role, providing medical outreach, assistance with medications, nursing assessment and other services in the community, including early childhood therapy and in-home services.
Some of the more common child psychiatric disorders that we treat include autistic spectrum disorders, learning disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and psychotic and mood disorders.
