I prefer to utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as a treatment modality, with a solution focused lens providing a safe space for therapeutic processing and development of tools and to aid in the achievement of an individual’s best quality of life.
Children, Adolescents, and their families
My areas of interest in mental health include and is not limited to trauma rehabilitation, suicidal idealization, self-injurious behavior, anxiety, depression, dissociation, oppositional defiance disorder, mood and emotional dysregulation, in additional to attachment related issues.
I have experience working with many individuals with developmental disabilities, those identifying as LGBTQ+, and people with many diverse experiences and backgrounds. I have been working at the inpatient level of care providing crisis stabilization for children and their families in a trauma-focused and person-centered manner.
