Kara Mireles

Outpatient Psychotherapist

Professional Philosophy

As a marriage and family therapist, I recognize that no one is an island unto themselves, and how those around us interact with us impacts each of us greatly. I endeavor to bring those systems into individual, couples, and family sessions, and believe that a person has a richer life with healthier relationships and interactions with those around them. Whether the presenting issue is anxiety, depression, psychosis, attachment, or trauma, it is working together with our best efforts to access the part of one’s self that is able to facilitate change that will produce the greatest impact. It is addressing the needs of the body, spirit, and soul for a more holistic change.
