Practitioner Outpatient Services
I believe in attending to the whole person: body, mind/soul, and spirit. This body belongs to a system and that system impacts the individual. The balance that an individual maintains greatly impacts their life and the systems that they are a part of. The therapeutic process should attend to the whole person, and the woundedness that we can carry. My goal for clients in the therapeutic process is to balance being in the present, attending to the past, and making goals for the future.
I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, working with ages 11-17. I have a firm grasp on how to integrate spirituality into the therapeutic process, due to my education.
For 3.5 years I worked as a school-based therapist primarily with ages 14-18 and their families. In addition, I have worked as a crisis practitioner for over 1.5 years.
BS in Psychology from Northwestern College
MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Bethel Seminary
I also hold a certification in Prepare and Enrich, a pre-marital counseling model.
