Krista utilizes a holistic approach to therapy. She is highly attuned to early childhood mental health and the importance of early intervention though increasing a supportive alliance. Understanding the importance of the parent-child relationship; noting parents’ experiences with their child(ren) collaborating with families and their communities toward enhancing overall functioning and well-being.

Professional Experience

Her professional career has been dedicated to working  with young children and families since 2001. Krista is trained in Trauma-Informed Child Parent Psychotherapy, an evidence based therapy for children age birth – five with traumatic exposure.


B.A.S in Psychology and a minor in Communications from the University of Minnesota-Duluth (2001). M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota (2007)
