Professional Philosophy

I believe each client is unique and should therefor be treated as so. I provide a non-judgmental, client centered point of view, and believe it is important for every client to have input on the level of care that would be most beneficial to them.

Specialty Areas

  • Completing chemical health assessments with adolescents and adults, and basing my recommendations o a number of factors, including input from clients. I also believe it is important to address all concerns, including mental health, and not solely focusing on chemical use.

Professional Experience

Working as an LADC with adolescents and adults in several different settings, including outpatient treatment, a hospital- based setting, clinical reviews for residential treatment, and completing Rule 25/Chemical Health Assessments. Currently my focus is completing assessments and making referrals as needed.

Education

I completed a Bachelor’s Degree at Metropolitan State University in Alcohol & Drug Counseling, with a minor in Mental Health Psychology.

Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor through the State of Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy
