Professional Philosophy

Helping establish a coalition between the addict and the helping professional.

Specialty Areas

  • Working with people who are struggling with substance dependency issues. Helping them find healthy alternatives to their drug and alcohol use. Helping people get over their ambivalence about making changes in their lives by using Motivational Interviewing techniques. I currently work with the adolescent population in the Community Options Program; an intensive outpatient program which includes case management that is designed for youth ages thirteen to eighteen who struggle with addiction issues and are at risk for out-of-home placement.
