A psychological assessment is a collaborative team effort between an individual, their support network (family members, health care providers, teachers, case managers etc.), and the evaluator that can enhance therapeutic understanding, cohesion, and provide a framework to meet desired goals.
Our paths are unique that take twists and turns by choice or by happenstance. Making sense of who we are, our personal experiences, and the connections between the two can be a tough job. My goal is to build a relationship that allows exploration, a change to increase self-awareness, and opportunities to work towards a desired change. Come as you are! It is a privilege to share your path.
My approach to therapy is holistic, co-creative, kind, and practical. My goal is to provide clients with skills and insight to cope with both the everyday stressors and the big life events with as much ease as possible.
As a therapist, I see the client as the expert in their own life and see myself as a coach who can guide and offer support along the way.
My goal is to assist the client in facilitating change and to develop further insight into how experiences and relationships influenced interactions and life choices.
I feel that as a therapist my job is to support and nurture positive change in others and feel honored that I am allowed this opportunity.
In an atmosphere of support and respect, we will work as a team toward your stated goals and well-being.
My goal is to help facilitate change, skill mastery, and acceptance; as well as to help develop insight into our abilities and capacity to cope with our most difficult challenges.
Therapy is a very personal and unique process. I believe everyone can achieve healthy states of being. The path taken to reach it is uniquely yours. Identifying your desired outcomes and needs will help guide our therapeutic relationship.
I strive to support clients in developing more adaptive ways of coping with stressors and to empower clients to utilize their strengths to overcome challenges.
I am a compassionate, gentle and highly attentive therapist, a person of trust, and sympathetic to all.
My goal is to deliver significant and positive impact to patients through individual and group interactions. I enjoy caring for patients and families of all cultures and backgrounds. I believe that collaboration with my clients helps them maintain good health, and is beneficial in treating life’s challenges.
It’s a privilege to work with people and share their journey.
Psychological assessment and treatment can offer an individual insight and awareness as to how life experiences, events, and relationships influence one’s development, growth, and functioning, and in so doing, offer an individual the opportunity to work toward change, transformation, healing, and hope.
I approach my work with the assumption that everyone has the capacity to change, if provided with the proper support and treatment.
I work to provide a supportive environment where clients can reorient themselves, build skills, and develop new insights in order to reach their goals.
Like a puzzle, people tell me disjointed parts of their problems. I can help you put the pieces together in a way that makes more sense.
I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is a key component to successful therapy. My professional philosophy includes incorporating multiple therapeutic techniques in order to tailor therapy to the specific needs of my clients. I emphasize empowering my clients I the therapeutic environment and their lives. My therapeutic style includes a balance of validation and challenges to help clients grow to their full potential.
I can support you by listening and providing the insight, knowledge and experience needed to help you reach your goals for therapy.
I believe that no one is beyond help, no matter how severe the disorder or longstanding the mental health problems. I am a strong proponent of psychotherapeutic approaches which have scientific support for their effectiveness to ensure we are making the most of your time in therapy.
To facilitate change by helping the client develop his or her own strengths, insights, and strategies for health and growth.
Whether it is nature or nurture, biochemistry, genetics, or behaviors influenced by trauma or chaos, we can work together and make decisive changes that will render hope, healing, and everlasting change.
I believe that finding balance in ones life is important. I use an MST approach that focuses on ones strengths, and use CBT techniques to help find the balance that one is looking for.
I believe that balance is a crucial part of a healthy and meaningful life. We all struggle at times with confusing or challenging feelings, and it’s okay to seek support.
I believe that providing successful therapy begins with building a trusting relationship with clients and providing them with a safe environment, free of judgment.
I can offer my clients healing through a positive corrective emotional experience while meeting them where they are in the healing process.
I strive to provide a safe space for clients to share their stories, build on strengths, develop insight, and learn new ways to change and grow.
