I use a person centered approach with all of my clients and to treat them as individuals, knowing that each situation is different. My goal is to provide clients with the knowledge and skills needed to cope with everyday challenges that life can bring.
I prefer to utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as a treatment modality, with a solution focused lens providing a safe space for therapeutic processing and development of tools and to aid in the achievement of an individual’s best quality of life.
My goal is to promote genuine rapport and create a safe environment to share. I believe when paired with a non-judgmental, client-centered, and collaborative approach insight and awareness can be developed to create avenues of acceptance of self, explore change in daily living and ability to function as we hope.
I am a compassionate therapist that provides therapy to those in a mental health emergency.
I utilize a strengths-based, person-centered approach when working with individuals. I provide support alongside a person’s journey to assist them with reaching their optimal potential and increasing their sense of personal growth. I enjoy working with individuals of all abilities and backgrounds and I am LGBTQIA+ affirming.
Psychological assessment and treatment can offer an individual insight and awareness as to how life experiences, events, and relationships influence one’s development, growth, and functioning, and in so doing, offer an individual the opportunity to work toward change, transformation, healing, and hope.
I believe in an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from several approaches including: emotionally focused therapy, attachment theory, family systems theory, & cognitive behavioral therapy.
I believe therapy brings empowerment through knowledge and self understanding. I work with people to find balance and develop ways of coping with stressors that build up their strength. With compassion and action, brings real healing.
