TLC Day Treatment Therapist
I provide care and services to adolescents who are experiencing mental health difficulties. I have worked in various levels of care and utilize a client-centered approach with each individual I see. I feel passionate about working with at-risk youth and meet clients where they are at while keeping their personal goals in mind.
I have experience across a wide array of contexts. I began my career in a level five/six residential treatment facility where I worked for approximately five years. Following this, I transitioned into an outpatient setting where I was able to expand my horizons and work with unfamiliar clientele. After two years of this, I made the decision to work in a level four-day treatment facility. In each level of care, my primary focus has been on adolescents; however, I have some experience with adults as well. Along the way, I completed training to implement Brain spotting (trauma work) into my regime.
Some of my favorite hobbies include playing and listening to music, softball, tennis, being active, reading, and spending time with friends. I have two cats, I lovingly refer to as my “slonk” (Finnegan) and my “chonk” (Nimantha). An interesting fact about me is that I have a tradition of going skydiving every year, this year will be my 10th!
