Child Psychiatry

Our goal, like yours, is to help your child or adolescent recapture the joy and discovery of growing up. We provide care for early childhood (birth to age five) through age 18. We also specialize in treating a transition age group (age 18-25) that does not always get the attention it deserves.

Psychiatric medical services for children include diagnostic evaluation and consultation, treatment planning and medication management. We also facilitate inpatient hospitalization when necessary. Our experienced nursing staff plays a critical role, providing medical coordination with the client’s primary care physician. We also provide assistance with medications, nursing assessment and other services for clients in the community.

Some of the more common child psychiatric disorders that we treat include autistic spectrum disorders, learning disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and psychotic and mood disorders.
