Outpatient treatment at Canvas Health is available for all ages for mental health and substance use issues. Outpatient treatment involved one-on-one appointments with a psychiatrist, clinical psychologist, adult outpatient therapist, child outpatient therapist, or substance use treatment provider. Canvas Health outpatient appointments take place in one of our clinic locations or via telehealth.
Yes, Canvas Health provides adult ADHD screenings through our Psychological Services department. To make a referral or appointment for an adult ADHD screening, call (651) 251-5059.
Canvas Health does not provide Detox Services. However, Canvas Health offers services after receiving treatment in a Detox Center. The first step after receiving treatment in a Detox Center is to get a Rule 25 Assessment. Using state-mandated tools, our experienced assessors evaluate a person’s substance use, and begin working with them to build a plan that will start the path to hope, healing, and recovery.
In Minnesota, the process of the assessment and the criteria the decision is based upon are governed by Rule 25. Under Rule 25, a Canvas Health chemical health assessor gathers information about an individual and decides whether the individual needs chemical health treatment and if so, what type will be the most beneficial.
Mend is the application that Canvas Health uses for telehealth. After you make an appointment, a client will get an email or a text from your provider. You can click on that link to get started with your telehealth session.
