Mobile Crisis Clinician
I believe it is important to see the whole person, rather than just the issues that brought them to you. Mental health is not a “one size fits all” and therefore should not be approached that way. Everyone does not experience depression or grief in the same way, so understanding the whole person is vital to assisting them in their recovery.
My professional experience includes working in rural Minnesota as a supervisor at a residential facility for at-risk females who were victims of sex trafficking. This is the moment I decided to return to school and obtain my clinical degree because I found that many of the girls looked like me, and could benefit from a cultural approach. After 5 years, I moved back to the Twin Cities metro area and worked as a case manager for both adults and children which I found rewarding as I watched clients evolve by accomplishing their goals. I have also worked as a therapist in an adolescent day treatment in Hennepin County and a school-based therapist in Anoka.
I enjoy shopping, skydiving, watching true crime, cooking, and spending time with my family and beloved dogs, Cocoa & Chloe. My favorite season is summer, so I love to spend time on the patio with my friends.
Fun fact: I am also working towards being a master skydiver and will hopefully pass the test in the Spring 2026.
