The Stomp Out Suicide 5K unites families for a day of fun and fitness with a serious purpose—linking people in crisis with help. Stomp Out Suicide is proudly hosted by Canvas Health, a local nonprofit mental health and substance use disorder agency.

Registration for our Saturday, August 19, 2023 event is now open! Please read this waiver of liability prior to registering.

Please email info@canvashealth.org with any questions or if you’d like to create a team not listed on the registration dropdown menu. You do not have to be a part of a team to participate! All are welcome! You can also support Stomp Out Suicide and Canvas Health by creating a fundraising page!

Canvas Health is proud to provide an opportunity for clinicians, parents, and Canvas Health supporters to learn about the unique challenges facing members of the LGBTQIA+ community who are managing substance use and mental health concerns.

In this panel discussion, Canvas Health mental health and substance use professionals – including representatives and allies from the LGBTQAI+ community – will discuss the ways in which we work to provide these individuals and families with the best possible support and steps toward healthy recovery

Like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis that can save lives. This one-hour training will provide innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training that anyone (18+) can put to use. This training will be presented by Alyssa Peterson, Canvas Health Suicide Prevention Regional Coordinator. Please register in advance.

Like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis that can save lives. This one-hour training will provide innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training that anyone (18+) can put to use.
