Clinical Trainee; Forest Lake
As a therapist, my philosophy centers on creating a safe, affirming, and inclusive space where individuals of all identities feel seen, supported, and empowered. With my clients, I work on understanding our emotions, communicating effectively, and developing coping skills that honor both our strengths and our struggles. My work focuses on helping clients identify their emotional experiences, effective communication, and coping with distress. Together, we cultivate meaningful change by fostering insight, confidence, and a deeper connection to oneself and others.
I have experience working with children and adolescents ages 2–20 who present with a wide range of mental health conditions, including Autism, ADHD, anxiety disorders, trauma, and mood disorders. I am deeply passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities and mental health needs, and I have worked in both special education and nonprofit settings to provide compassionate, strengths-based care.
I played softball for 18 years and was a college athlete. I have my black belt in Tae Kwon Do. I love to crochet, paint, and do anything crafty.
