Adolescent Day Treatment Therapist
My professional philosophy is that each person is the expert of their own story and that healing happens in community. I utilize somatic, cognitive, behavioral, and mindfulness techniques in both group and individual work with clients. The work I do is based on relationship and trust; an adolescent’s relationship to their family, their peers, their support system, and to themselves are crucial to their wellbeing.
I received my bachelor’s degree in social work in 2017 and immediately began working with adolescents. For the next seven years, I worked in both shelter settings and case management settings largely focused on serving sexually exploited youth. I earned my master’s degree in 2024 and started working in day treatment with Canvas Health.
My wife and I have 5 animals: two dogs and three cats! I love to read, cook, play tabletop games, and work on historical sewing projects.
