Adult Group Therapies Supervisor
My professional philosophy is to make connections with clients and build trusting relationships. I use a variety of perspectives or techniques from several theories and approaches, including dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, and feminist theory.
I have previous experience with adults and adolescents with co-occurring disorders in multiple settings, including residential, outpatient, and school-based. I currently supervise adult day treatment and intensive support group therapy services. I facilitate psychotherapy groups and carry a small caseload of individual psychotherapy clients.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, taking walks, and visiting national parks. My favorite park so far is Yellowstone.
I am also a cat lady! I am also involved in NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Washington County as a board member.
