Adult Mental Health Case Manager
My goal as a Case Manager is to walk alongside my clients through life’s challenges and empower them to create the change that they hope for. This is done by helping my clients locate and understand the resources that are available to them. I aim to create a welcoming environment built on mutual respect and understanding. I show up as my authentic self which includes being patient, non-judgmental, culturally sensitive, and compassionate.
I have 14 years of experience working in the human services field. I started my career working with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities providing direct care. I worked throughout college in group homes, senior care, and working with children. I found myself working with people who were limited with verbal communication and needed support with emotional and behavioral regulation. After college I continued on that path working in a Day Habilitation Program, managing a Group Home, and again working with kids. I moved towards working with people who have Serious/Persistent Mental Illness around 2019 which led me in 2022 to finding the role of Mental Health Case Manager.
In my spare time you can find me spending time with my pets, friends, and family. I love live music, creating or viewing art, and anything that involves water such as swimming or kayaking.
