School-Based Mental Health Clinical Trainee
I believe that every student deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment where students can express themselves openly while developing the skills and confidence needed to navigate their challenges.
I completed a school social work internship at an elementary school in Minneapolis during the 2024-2025 school year. I then completed a school-based therapy internship at Burroughs Community School during the 2025-2026 school year. I now continue to work at Burroughs Community School as a full-time Clinical Trainee. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidence-based approach that helps children and families understand, process, and heal from difficult experiences and trauma.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature. Whether it’s walking around one of the lakes in Minneapolis, hiking, or relaxing in the sunshine, being outdoors helps me recharge and stay grounded.
