Suicide Prevention Regional Coordinator
Suicide is the most preventable form of death. It poses difficult questions to ask when there is a belief of crisis for the self or for others. I believe my participation within the program of suicide prevention in the southwest region of Minnesota will provide a direct resource people can trust and lean back on.
During my time at University of Minnesota Duluth, I interned through Carlton County alongside the Regional Coordinator of the Northeast region of Minnesota shadowing QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) trainings and participation in prevention outreach.
