Mobile Crisis Services Supervisor
All of us enter our own unique journey in life, and while on this journey, we experience a multitude of emotions. Sometimes these feelings are overwhelmingly difficult to express, process, and navigate. And oftentimes we don’t want to feel these emotions at all, which may manifest itself through self-defeating thoughts and behaviors. Daniel is here to provide a comforting and nonjudgmental space for people to work through, not around, parts of the journey that are distressing and painful. Daniel utilizes a combination of well researched therapeutic techniques and, at times, less traditional approaches when helping others.
Having had educational and professional experiences in varying parts of the country, Daniel was afforded the opportunity to work with a diverse array of client populations in multiple professional settings. These include: community mental health clinics; an eating disorder clinic; a mood, anxiety, and self-injury clinic; Ecopsychology focused programming; a HIV/AIDS advocacy agency; crisis outreach teams; and the area’s National Suicide Prevention Lifeline regional office. Daniel views it both challenging and beneficial to work broadly within the helping profession, but some specialties of interest include Substance Use Disorders, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, mood disorders (Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorders), and self-injurious behaviors.
